Bandar is the quintessential azawakh.  He is austere, refined, and occasionally allows one a glimpse of his feral ancestry from the Sahel of northern Africa.  His beauty never fails to make me catch my breath.  Bandar came to me from David Moore, of the kennel Azawakh Idiiyat-Es-Sahel.  I must admit that it wasn’t me who chose Bandar, he totally chose me.  When I first arrived at David’s house, it was Bandar who decided to climb into my lap even though there were lots of other puppies who could have done so.  He is without a doubt one of the most beautiful dogs I have ever owned.
